About

I have a masters and doctorate degree in clinical psychology, which I received from Antioch University and the California Graduate Institute, Los Angeles, respectively, in 1998. My Colorado psychology license number is #2806. Before practicing in Colorado, I was licensed in California (PSY 17133) since March 2001.

I have been in private practice in Boulder, Colorado since 2004 and was in private practice in California from 2001. Prior to this I was on staff at the South Bay Community Resource Center as a Registered Psychologist and was responsible for the chemical dependency treatment program. In this setting I provided intensive individual therapy, group therapy, and psychological assessment to adults, children, and families.

During my doctoral training I worked as a Social Worker for the Los Angeles County Department of Children Family Services in Los Angeles, CA. I initiated family maintenance and reunification services and was responsible for dependency court reports and foster care placement. In addition, I worked for Aspira Foster and Family Services as a Social Worker Supervisor and my responsibilities included creating Clinical Historys, Needs Assessments, Quarterly Reports, and Social Worker supervision. I also provided psychotherapeutic interventions for children. Prior to my social work experience, I worked at 1736 Family Crisis Center, which was the original battered woman's shelter in Redondo Beach that evolved into a comprehensive, multi-faceted family treatment center. Clients at the center struggled with issues such as addictions, the effects of trauma, mood disorders, and longstanding significant relationship problems.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
